Artist guide

Find your next task
  1. Start on Dashboard for audience totals, release preparation and your work queue.
  2. Use Songs for credits, rights and checklist reviews.
  3. Use Releases for a date, preparation tasks and delivery destinations.
  4. Use Promote & perform for press kits, pitch drafts, opportunities and shows.
  5. Use Business for documents, shared contract details, splits and money.

Save and recover your work
  1. Edits save on this device immediately. Signed-in artist workspaces also save automatically to the account; guest workspaces remain on this device.
  2. Wait for Saved to your account before leaving this device. Pending or offline changes stay here until sync succeeds.
  3. On another device, sign into the same artist account. Your saved workspace loads automatically. Conflicting saved versions are preserved for review.
  4. Download full backup keeps a portable JSON copy. Restore from file replaces the current workspace after confirmation and keeps one browser recovery copy.
  5. Upload audio and artwork in your signed-in workspace to save the actual files privately to your account. JSON backups store file references, so use Download file for an original copy. Earlier local-only previews and external links need an upload to become account files.

Keep contract drafts in sync
  1. Open Contracts → Shared details and enter the legal names, business address and other details you use repeatedly.
  2. Choose a template, then select its song, release and other party. Song credits are edited in Songs; composition shares are edited in Rights & money → Split sheets; other-party details are edited in Contacts.
  3. Enter the terms specific to this agreement and review the generated document. Bracketed entries still need completion.
  4. Save the draft. Shared edits update every linked draft for that artist; reviewed drafts return to Draft when their text changes.
  5. Download an editable copy, or HTML to print as PDF. Review and sign through your chosen process, then record the signed link and date. Signed and archived snapshots retain their saved text.
  6. Older custom copies stay independent. Create a linked copy from a template when you want shared data to supply its fields.

Import a music analytics report
  1. Open Music analytics and choose Spotify for Artists or Apple Music for Artists.
  2. Export a CSV from the provider dashboard, then import it here. This is a manual import, not a live connection.
  3. Select the metric, column and dates. Preview the mapped rows before saving.
  4. Only sum independent counts without total rows or overlapping groups. Listener and follower counts are never summed.
  5. Use the saved report to review a release or campaign. Separate reports remain separate.

Update your audience overview
  1. Open Dashboard and choose the artist when your account has more than one.
  2. Set up Google Analytics and Mailchimp in Connections, then refresh connected data to load your website and email audience numbers.
  3. Import Spotify streams or Apple Music plays in Music analytics. Dashboard uses the latest matching report only; a total requires confirmed separate counts with no missing rows.
  4. Use Add count or Update count for Instagram and Facebook. Enter the count and the date you checked it. Saving the same date replaces that snapshot.
  5. More social channels & snapshot history includes TikTok, YouTube and removal of older counts. Social counts are manual and private, and save with your workspace.
